Bookings and Options

Upon booking a tour with Yacht Ft. Lauderdale c/o PointSix Florida Charters, LLC., all dates and times are considered confirmed. Options for food, drinks, bartenders, stewards, caterers and other upgrades  may be made up to one week prior to booking dates. We will try our best to accommodate you, but guarantees can not be made. 

Poor Weather, Rough Seas, Acts of God

The captain will have the final say for all sailings. Poor weather, rough seas, and acts of God are out of our immediate control. In the event of poor weather and/or rough seas, the captain may opt to cancel your booking. If a booking is cancelled on behalf of Yacht Ft. Lauderdale, every possible attempt will be made to reschedule for another convenient date and time during your trip. If no other dates or times can accommodate your party, we will issue you a full refund in the amount of the original purchase price, which includes taxes and fees, or you may opt to receive a credit for use on another date within one year of the original booked tour date.

Rescheduling  

If you need to reschedule your tour for any reason, you may do so by filling out an inquiry form on our contact page or on our pricing page. You may also email or call us. Tours may be refunded or rescheduled up to one month prior to confirmed booking date, pending availability. If no convenient dates are available, you may opt to receive a credit equal to the full monetary value paid,  for use up to one year from the original booking date. All tours are to be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to confirmed booking date. Please ensure that you have chosen the correct date and time when booking your tour. Tours being rescheduled are to be rescheduled for another tour worth the equivalent monetary value of the original booked tour. 

No-Shows

Any tour that is not rescheduled prior to the booking date, or tours considered a “No-Show,”  in which guests do not arrive for their tour(s), will be charged at the full amount, and no refunds will be given.

Late Arrivals and Tour Times

No additional tour time will be given to groups who arrive late for their tour or who require multiple stops for any reason. You will receive confirmation of your booking date and time prior to your tour. We suggest that all parties arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their tour. Tour time is not considered “time at sea.” Tour times are calculated from dock launch to dock return. 

Refunds

Refunds may only be issued within 30 days of confirmed booking when the captain decides to cancel a tour due to poor weather or issues which may make it unsafe or hazardous to set sail. Tours must be paid in full prior to 30 days of the confirmed booking date. Any add-ons must be paid for at the time of booking, and will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation within 30 days of confirmed booking. 

Add-Ons

Add-ons are to be paid in full at the time of booking. The only exception would be for last-minute alcohol or food delivery, which must be paid in full prior to setting sail. Substitutions may be made at the discretion of the captain. In the event of a vendor cancellation or additional staff cancellation, every possible attempt will be made for a replacement. In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide a replacement, we will refund the full amount of the add-on service, plus any applicable taxes and fees.
